– PeleThis is a story about a girl call Pooja.

Pooja K’s story runs true with the above quote. She scored an amazing 98.72% in the SSLC exam, all the while confronting with her struggles.

A little peek into her life and one will be left with a thought of admiration for her.

She is the daughter of a house maid and her father owns a small shop. Her mother, Vishalakshi, works hard to look after the family. She manages the entire expenditure with her minimum income, which also includes Pooja’s study expenses.
Pooja grew up to be a very bright student and has scored consistently well throughout her schooling career.

With the income that her parents were earning, it was becoming more and more difficult for them to provide support to this child.
It was at this moment that Vidyachetana stepped up to help this child, and she has been very vocal with her appreciation towards Youth for Seva and Vidyachetana.

Nonetheless, her incredible achievement attributes to her hard work and sincerity. Studying 4 hours on each weekday and revisions on the weekend, in spite of the fact that financial resources refrained her from attending any tuition’s, is perhaps an exemplary show of determination and perseverance.

She even successfully managed to complete her syllabus a month prior to the exams, while securing a total of 617 marks out of a possible 625 marks. Kudos to her parents, teachers and everyone else involved who had extended their moral support to this child.

This result has emboldened her to pursue her dream of becoming a Doctor one day
