His father is no more and his mother is a Farmer. He has 1 elder sister who has completed her PUC this year.
With the income that his mother was earning, it was difficult for her to provide support for their education. It was at this moment that Sponsor a Child – Youth for Seva stepped up to help this child.Hardships were written in his life from an earlier age. His father passed away when he was very young. All these struggles throughout his life have only left him emboldened to pursue his dreams even more. His mother stays in Andhra Pradesh and does Agriculture. He and his sister stay at uncle’s home in Chikkaballapura.
Sagar K A is a very bright student and has scored consistently well throughout his schooling career. A great appreciation also goes to his teacher, Mr. Shankar Reddy V.N who selflessly helped this child by giving him time after school to help him with his studies. His unshaken determination abled him to secure 91% percent in SSLC exams.
This result has emboldened him to pursue his dream of becoming a Successful Engineer one day.

Pooja K’s story runs true with the above quote. She scored an amazing 98.72% in the SSLC exam, all the while confronting with her struggles.
A little peek into her life and one will be left with a thought of admiration for her.
She is the daughter of a house maid and her father owns a small shop. Her mother, Vishalakshi, works hard to look after the family. She manages the entire expenditure with her minimum income, which also includes Pooja’s study expenses.
With the income that her parents were earning, it was becoming more and more difficult for them to provide support to this child.
Nonetheless, her incredible achievement attributes to her hard work and sincerity. Studying 4 hours on each weekday and revisions on the weekend, in spite of the fact that financial resources refrained her from attending any tuition’s, is perhaps an exemplary show of determination and perseverance.
She even successfully managed to complete her syllabus a month prior to the exams, while securing a total of 617 marks out of a possible 625 marks. Kudos to her parents, teachers and everyone else involved who had extended their moral support to this child.
This result has emboldened her to pursue her dream of becoming a Doctor one day
